For more than 35 years, Deluxe Design, Inc has been serving businesses and organizations across New Mexico and the United States. Our story begins in owners’ Norm and Sandy’s one car garage. While Jasmine, Justin and Tasha climbed on their father’s shoulders to get board games down from above the work bench, Norm worked day and night to engrave by hand each clients’ needs into metal and wood to help commemorate achievements and memorialize loved ones.

Still a “mom and pop” business, and an early adopter of new computerized mechanical engraving machines, Deluxe Design outgrew the garage and moved to its first commercial storefront. As we started our third year and fresh in the business park that would be our home for the next 10 years, more opportunities and projects emerged. We began developing new signage for Intel, and helped create signs that met both the environmental goals as well as clean room standards demanded by the Intel’s unique needs. As the Intel site in Rio Rancho, NM grew into the largest micro processing facility in the world at the time, Deluxe Design was producing everything from room identification and tool labels to process cards and crew gear, delivering locally and shipping to global sites.

Concurrent to the recent growth, investments in screen printing allowed Deluxe Design to serve our clients with printed t-shirts, hats, hoodies and other gear. This led to being able to produce merchandise for many brilliant organizations and performers around the world. T-shirts and posters have been designed and printed in-house by our talented team for many groups and acts. Our partners have included music performers such as the Grateful Dead, Santana, Eric Clapton, famous tattoo artists from across the U.S., as well as music festivals and live events. We also love to serve education institutions, sports teams and community groups like Rio Rancho High School Band and the New Mexico United Soccer Club. Many clients have come to Deluxe Design for our reputation as an industry leader in the screen printing process.

As our relationship with touring bands developed, a new industry began to emerge. Special events and music festivals are now as common as football games and blockbuster movies. Each spring as the weather warms up, fans head outside to catch the musical groups we have been waiting to see. Deluxe Design is the go-to turn-key solution for event signage for live events. We have been developing wayfinding plans, creating on-brand signage, reliably manufacturing the items, providing on-time delivery, installation and post-event inventory for more than 15 years now.

Today, with a full-time staff including professional project managers, designers, production and installation staff, we are here to serve our clients from concept and creation to plan execution. Investments in the crew and technology have kept our business growing as we expand the offerings we can provide to our clients. Adoption of the latest printing technology has given us a lead on competition; we set standards in equipment investment in New Mexico.
